A retired colonel in the US Army, Norbert Vergez led capital projects for a Texas based Commercial Construction company. Guiding diverse new construction and remodeling projects, he actively seeks out opportunities for US government-funded projects. One of Norbert Vergez’ responsibilities with the Plano, Texas, firm was contract acquisition and management. He also partnered with subcontractors and clients to ensure the timely provision of quality deliverables.

Mr. Vergez’s professional experience includes a quarter century of active duty military experience in areas such as technical operations and project management. Working under the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense as a brigade level commander, he executed several new aircraft production, modification, and modernization programs. He also undertook combat tours in Afghanistan, Iraq, and the Balkans, where he delivered motivating leadership to hundreds of soldiers. He also served two tours as a Pentagon resource manager, and also has experience as a digital systems product manager.

Mr. Vergez’ military accomplishments include earning the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, Several Army Commendation and Achievement Medals as well as earning the Airborne, Air Assault and Senior Army Aviator badges. He's also the recipient of the Order of Saint Michael (Bronze and Silver) Awards for Army Aviation excellence. A history enthusiast, he also enjoys riding motorcycles in his free time.
